Dog Daycare Supervisor

As our Barkleys Dog Training Academy continues to grow, we are looking for a qualified member of senior staff who is available to back-up our current excellent team in the Daycare Centre both during the week and for our weekend events/training. We are looking to offer the right person in the region of 37.5 hours per week- but we can be flexible – we are happy to work around the right people for our team.

Requirements:-

*You will need to be level 3 qualified or above in Animal Care/Animal Management, preferably in the canine area

*Maths and English at Grade C and above (or equivalent)

*A qualification in Dog Training with a Member Organisation of the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter would be a distinct advantage as there will be opportunities to work for our award-winning Dog Training Academy.

*You will have knowledge about all aspects of dogs, from socialisation and training, to enrichment and behaviour, with the opportunity to attend paid for OFQUAL recognised qualifications - current members of staff have been supported through their training with the IMDT, UK Sniffer Dogs and The Dog Training College.
