Gardener

Valley Provincial is a well-established and successful landscaping & horticultural company offering a wide range of services to commercial organisations, local authorities and the education sector.

We are looking for a Gardener to join our team at based at the Historic Chelsea Barracks. This successful candidate will work 5 days a week Monday - Friday.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist with the maintenance of the gardens to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.

- Undertake maintenance duties such as border maintenance, pruning, weed control, pruning, watering, pest control, etc.

- Assist with planting of herbaceous and seasonal flowering plants.

- Work with hand tools and garden machinery such as leaf blowers, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers etc.

- Work as part of a small dedicated team to ensure the grounds present to a very high standard at all times.

- Maintain a high standard of organisation throughout their role

- Communicate daily with colleagues and managers

- Maintain positive and enthusiastic attitude to all other members of staff

- Punctual, trustworthy, courteous and honest

- Be flexible on working times if required to achieve full customer satisfaction

- Respond to customer requests proactively and positively.
