Extracting data from the database or other data sources, manipulating as needed for the required task
Undertaking ad hoc statistical investigations as requested by the line manager
Deriving module and course data and statistics, analysing and evaluating statistical trends and/or anomalies, advising stakeholders on appropriate intervention and/or relevant adjustments as necessary
Manipulating data as required for regulatory reporting, including for returns to HESA and other regulators
Providing high-quality management information to help ensure success in any Office for Students or other regulatory quality assessment
Conducting the role to a high level of accomplishment, with functional and technical knowledge and skills, in particular, experience with manipulating data in Excel
Paying attention to detail, being prepared to ask questions, and being inquisitive
The Successful Applicant
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable
