Interim Financial Controller

Are you an experienced Senior Accountant or Financial Controller who is available for a short-term contract on the Fylde Coast? Are you happy to roll up your sleeves and support the finance team with all areas of accounts? If you are available and can commit to a three-month contract, I would love to hear from you! This role will be working closely with the existing Financial Controller supporting them with brining the accounts up to date. They have recently changed systems and this has created a backlog in accounts. This contract is starting immediately!

Duties will include:

• Supporting the finance team and bringing accounts up to date
• Checking and resolving any issues you may come across
• Overseeing and fixing any issues with orders
• Provide Flash reports – Currently managed on Microsoft Excel
• Consolidating information from old system and new systems
• Producing tax packs for two companies this will be delivered to tax advisors
• Monthly reconciliations
• General support to the Financial Controller and senior management

Your Profile:

• Qualified ACCA, CIMA OR QBE
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills happy dealing with senior management and Management Accounts
• Hands on, willing to fix and resolve any issues and be a key support to the finance function

In Return:
You will be offered a daily rate of around £200 - £300 per day depending on experience. This will be paid weekly by the agency. You will be able to start immediately and will be entitled to holiday pay on top. Working hours are Monday – Friday and working hours can be flexible. Free parking is available onsite.
