Day Traffic Planner

Our client is recruiting for a team player, self-motivated, dedicated with the desire to succeed, improve our operations and able to offer the following .

• Have experience working within a busy transport office as a traffic planner
• Have a high level of communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationships with drivers, suppliers, customers and team mates
• Be able to problem solve and plan/route own allocated vehicles effectively
• Be able to operate systems such as Destin8, TOPs, Port VBS systems.

The role would also include the following

• Providing excellent customer service and communication
• Ensuring vehicles are presented on time for servicing and maintenance schedules
• Welcoming new and agency drivers, assisting with inductions and ensuring the relevant compliance checks are completed
• Briefing and debriefing of drivers and nights team
• Updating of all relevant systems
• Ensuring the security of the depot is maintained and health and safety guidelines are followed
