Salary: £10.62 per hour
We are hiring for a Drivers Mate to support the driver with handball deliveries, paperwork and driver debrief. If you have a friendly nature and enjoy meeting new people, this might be the role for you!
Your main responsibilities
- Maintain contact with stores and transport customer services regarding expected arrival times or any delays to journey
- Work collaboratively with your driver and maintaining effective working relationships and delivering stock in a safe manner
- Maintain the security and integrity of the vehicle and stock throughout the delivery
- Complete delivery paperwork
- Maintain and build professional customer relationships
- Adhere to health and safety training in line with company policies
- Ensure the company vehicles maintained to their best ability

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of health and safety in relation to working practices
