Support Worker - Days
Cygnet ↗Cygnet is looking for a Support Worker (Days only) to join our team working at Nightingale (Bournemouth). If you have previously worked or are currently working as a care assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker looking for a new opportunity or your first role within Social Care to help support residents with Autism and Learning Difficulties within a care home setting as part of the NHS partnership.
Nightingale’s is a 10-bed specialist residential care home supporting adults over the age of 18 with Autism and Learning Difficulties located in Bournemouth (BH6 3PX) in Boscombe.

What you will need:
- Positive Attitude and Caring Approach
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- No previous care experience is required
About the Role:
- Working from 07:45am till 08:00pm on a 42 Hour Full Time Contract
- Working alternate weekends
- Helping to promote resident independence
- Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
- Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers
- Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities
- Completing resident’s records to help monitor health and overall well-being
