Our client, an established Fine Art Shipping Company are seeking to hire a Shipping Coordinator to join their expanding team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain relations with clients including galleries, private clients, artists and auction houses
- Oversee jobs from start to finish
- Change offers into orders
- Issue and process quotes
- Supply compliant shipping documentation and instructions
- Liaise with overseas agents and partners whilst maintaining a strong relationship
- Provide assistance with exhibition, fair and project coordination
- Negotiate to help minimise services and costs when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with Fine Art shipments
- An understanding of import and export processes
- Knowledge of customs, post-brexit specifications, cites, antique/art declarations, BOL and invoicing, temporary admission and compliance
- Proactive and willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
