The K9 Creche has a rare opportunity for someone to join our team! We are a dog daycare centre with a farm location on the outskirts of Gateshead. The role is Monday-Friday from 9.30am until 12.30pm with additional hours available if desired.
The ideal candidate will be a dog lover with experience and confidence in handling different breeds. We are looking for a hardworking, honest, reliable individual who enjoys working in an outdoor environment regardless of the weather! Some knowledge of dog behaviour would be beneficial although not essential as training will be provided.
Due to our farm location the successful applicant must have their own car.
Duties would include:
- safe supervision of the dogs in our care.
- play, interaction and meeting of the needs of our dogs on an individual basis.
- recording/communicating dog behaviour to other team members.
- feeding dogs, administering medication.
- cleaning of the indoor and outdoor play areas and equipment.
- cleaning of the kennels and communal areas.
- record keeping of cleaning regimes.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
