Temporary Kennel and Cattery Assistant

We are looking for someone to help with day to day care of the pets that stay with us.

Daily duties include:

• Walking dogs
• Cleaning kennels, cat pens, bowls, storage areas and general tidying
• Feeding
• Enrichment sessions
• Occasional bathing
• Scooping kennels and cat pens, as well as exercise areas
• Greeting clients and their pets
• Taking photos and videos for social media
• Giving medication
• Checking vaccination certificates
• General upkeep

The right candidate will

• Have experience working with animals
• Work to a high standard
• Be able to work as part of a team and alone
• Be able to follow instructions
• Enjoy working outside
• Be willing to learn
• Be punctual and reliable

Working hours: Friday to Monday - 08:00-16:30

Pay will be minimum wage based on age.

This is a temporary role with the potential for an extended contract depending on the amount of animals in our care.

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
