VACANCY - Assembly Operative (WE ARE SEEKING TO HIRE 3 PEOPLE)

Full time hours, spread over FOUR days Mon - Thur

TYPE - This is a temporary contract for approx 6 months.

WE ARE SEEKING PEOPLE for DAY SHIFT.

DAY SHIFT (PAYING £10.81 Per hour) Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.45pm 37 hours per week.

Overtime is available for those who want it, but it is not compulsory.

LOCATION - 3 miles outside of Glasgow city centre with FREE onsite staff parking and a train station close by.

We are currently working in partnership with a large, very successful Engineering Manufacturer, with a site based on the outskirts of Glasgow.

We are looking for THREE Assembly/Production Operatives to start ASAP (IN MARCH) and the contract will run for approx 6 months.

DUTIES

• The role will involve working with small electrical components.
• You must be physically fit and able to stand for periods of time, as most of the work is carried out at a workbench.
• You will be connecting & soldering small electrical components. Using crimping & other small hand tools following provided instructions.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE of manual dexterity production or assembly line work in electrical or electronics sectors would be an advantage.

Candidates must have prior production or assembly line experience in a technical sector.

The position will start immediately and will be on an going temporary basis for up to 6 months.
