Baker

The Corner Bakery is a traditional home bakery located in Cookstown. We are committed to producing bread without any additional preservatives or additives. We first started making bread in 1951 and our products are favourite to many households across Northern Ireland.

We are looking for someone to join our team to help us to produce bread and other associated products. Our ideal candidate will need to be enthusiastic about bread. Flexibility in covering for holidays and sickness is desirable. There will be an amount of lifting involved in the job.

We have opportunities for Day Shift & Night Shift

Important roles include: -

• Produce baked goods to set schedules and recipes as part of the daily production team. This includes mixing, forming and baking. Full training will be given in our practices and methodologies.
• Work to the bakery’s health and safety working practices within the production area, with awareness of our environmental standards.
• Work within the team to help identify opportunities for efficiency development and growth and reducing waste
• Working with the owners and management team to improve the overall running of the business

Full training in every aspect of the job will be given.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
