Café Assistant

PART TIME, WEEKEND

We at The Story Pig, in Sandford Orcas, are looking for another friendly face to join us at the weekends, with potential to take on more hours on a Thursday and Friday. We are a close knit team, with a strong ethos, so we are looking for someone who can get on board with what we do and be a representative face of that.

This is a front of house, customer facing role with tasks to include but not limited to; taking orders and payments, cash handling, serving food and drink, tidying and cleaning down at the end of the day.

This role would suit a flexible candidate. We are open 10-2:30 at the moment, Saturday and Sunday- operating our winter hours. From April until October we will be open 10-4, Thursday through to Sunday. Working hours are 8:30-4:30 , from April.

Barista training is highly desirable but not a necessity.
