CAD Technician

Salary Competitive - negotiable based on skills and experience

Location: Dudley (DY2 0UW)

Monday to Friday, 40 hour week (some flexibility on hours)

Responsibilities will include producing project sales layouts/full design packages, creating marketing presentations, and completing work to tight deadlines.

Strong 2D AutoCAD skills are essential but experience with 3D modelling would be beneficial also but not essential. We use AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SketchUp & Blender, Photoshop & InDesign daily.

Position Overview

• Work on a range of projects / products producing CAD layouts.
• Work part of the small Design & Sales team
• Help with quoting when required
• Communicate with internal team on projects from brief to completion
• Produce Installation Manuals/documents for completed projects.
• Produce Sales Proposals (InDesign) and assist with manuals in AutoCAD

Skills:

• Autocad 2D experience essential (3D preferable)
• InDesign - beneficial
• Self-motivated & keen to develop skills, with the capacity to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Have a working knowledge of Office365

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory entitlement), company contributory pension scheme, home working allowance.
