Teaching Assistant

Uniform Education are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at New Addington, Croydon. The successful candidate will be working with a team of experienced teachers to support and enhance the learning experience of students in the school.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Providing assistance to students with special educational needs or disabilities.
• Maintaining classroom equipment and resources.
• Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
