Senior Level Florist

PINSTRIPES & PEONIES - SENIOR LEVEL FLORIST

We are looking to recruit a new Senior Level Florist as part of our ever-growing and expanding floral-obsessive team.

The role will entail working to inspire, create and deliver bespoke and imaginative floral designs for corporate and private events, or weddings. We work in a huge variety of venues, including (but not limited to) palaces and historical sites, museums and galleries, marquees and pop-up venues.

Our client budgets on average range between £5k-£50k and beyond, so there is huge scope for creativity and bringing new ideas to the table. We are looking for someone to bring personality and passion to this exciting and creative role and add to our diverse team.

The role will include the following tasks:

· Creating a wide range of floral designs/installations.

· Assisting with the buying of flowers.

· Liaising with the workbench leaders to co-ordinate freelancers and manage workload.

· Managing the delivery and install of small events on site including overseeing teams of freelance florists, porters, etc. to ensure set-up is done to a high standard and on time.

Key Skills/ Experience required:

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and turn work around under tight deadlines.

· People skills and the ability to build a rapport with clients or other industry professionals.

· Excellent organisational skills and acute attention to detail.

· Creativity! Able to bring fresh ideas and adapt to different design styles or briefs.

· Event industry background or experience is useful but not essential.

· Telepathy and patience to be able to read some client’s minds…

· At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role/ industry.

· Must have the right to work in the UK.

Work pattern:

· This role will require some evening and weekend work to fit around events.

· Time off in lieu will be given for any hours worked outside usual scheduled hours.

· Overtime is at normal our freelance rate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
