We’re currently looking for an Operations Director to lead our Logistics and Operations in Cambridge. The Operations Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of operations, staff, budgets, project delivery, business strategy and much more. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the performance and growth of the business in the coming years, driving towards the companies' goals and objectives. The Role

• Day to day responsibility of operations, budgets, project delivery and business strategy
• Continuously analyse warehouse operations to increase efficiency
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Coordinate with other departments, such as buying and sales, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Managing the warehouse managers and supporting teams
• Oversee Quality checks, Goods In, Goods Out, Stock Control, Spares and Returns
• To manage and enforce company objectives
• Oversee and implement resource planning include staffing and equipment to meet the needs of the warehouse operations
• Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory levels, shipping and receiving times, labour costs to identify area for improvement
• Create reports and presentations for senior management on warehouse operations, performance, and improvements

The Candidate

• Proven experience in warehousing operations management
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and software
• Will have a clear understanding of the running and logistical running of a warehouse
• Excellent communication and man management skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
• Extensive negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £75,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
