Trainee Laboratory Technician

Foodtest Laboratories Ltd is an established and growing food and environmental testing laboratory based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

We are currently recruiting for Laboratory Technicians due to further company growth. The roles involve routine preparation of food and environmental samples for testing purposes, general laboratory duties and associated administration. Hours of work are 37.5 over 5 days (Includes Saturday and Sunday) positions are available in the Microbiology Laboratory.

GCSE/equivalent or above qualifications in Science, Mathematics and English are required and full training is provided. With further progression, a career as a Food Microbiologist, Food Chemist or Quality Systems Specialist is attainable, as well as various management positions in the food industry.

Pay rates exceed the National Living Wage for the UK and the role includes 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
