Bar Staff

We at Karaoke Box Soho are looking for bar staff to join our fun and friendly team. Full training will be given and opportunity to challenge yourselves in taking on all positions!

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, previous server/bar experience, passion for music and ability to work in a team in a busy environment.

We require our staff:

• to be polite
• to maintain a friendly atmosphere
• to be able to work under stressful circumstances
• happy to work until late night/early morning
• to be reliable in case of sudden shortages of staff
• to be someone who can take their own initiative

Main duties in the role:

• Meeting and greeting customers
• Making cocktails and serving drinks
• Handling customers queries and complaints face to face, by email or over the phone
• Booking appointments via booking system
• Taking payments via Sage pay, over the phone and with card machines
• Completing tasks assigned by the general manager
• Opening and closing duties

Required language: English on advanced level

The position will require you to be available evenings and weekends.

Working hours will be:
Tuesday 3pm - closing (Between midnight and 2am)
Wednesday 3pm - closing (Between midnight and 2am)
Thursday 6pm - closing (Between 2am - 3am)
Friday 6pm - closing (Between 2am - 3am)
Saturday Depending on the bookings - closing (Between 2am - 3am)

Ideally we are looking for 1 person full time however we can split the role between 2 people part time.

Hourly salary is based on experience and can be discussed.
Monthly service charge is paid as a bonus on the account and it is calculated based on hours worked. Full time workers gets approximately £2 + per hour extra.
