As an employee in the Mechatronics team at Atlas Copco, you will join our Global Research and Development department while continuing your studies. With your mentor's guidance and colleagues' support, you will play a crucial role in various mechanical and mechatronic development projects, with possible opportunities to manage work strands within these projects. Your primary focus will be on developing our upcoming Unity2 self-pierce rivet platform, set for release at the end of 2023. Not only will you learn about the field of mechatronics/mechanical engineering, but you will also gain valuable work experience and collaborate with a team globally to create a business case starting in May 2023.

• You are currently studying for your masters, with a focus on mechanical or mechatronic engineering or a related field.
• You know mechanical engineering design principles and techniques and are eager to work with data-driven R&D and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• You desire to learn about contemporary product development approaches using agile and lean techniques.
• You have a strong interest in business processes.
• You possess excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• You can work independently and responsibly and have a strong willingness to learn.
• While some experience in the engineering sector is desirable, it is not a requirement.
