Poultry Farm Management Trainee

We are a family farming business with our poultry egg laying farms based near Whitchurch in Shropshire.

As a family business we operate with family values towards each of the people we employ in the business, who each work in small dedicated teams on each farm

We are currently looking for people to work as part of our poultry team, collecting eggs from our laying hens, general care of our livestock

The successful candidates will:

• Have a positive attitude towards work
• Have excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Have transport due to the rural location
• Opportunity to progress for the right people

Duties will include:

Packing and grading eggs

Working as instructed by the farm manger.

Complying with Health and Safety Requirements

Looking after Bird Welfare to the highest standards

Maintaining high levels of Hygiene standards.

No previous experience necessary

Requirement for working at weekends (Sat & Sun)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £15,538.00-£34,330.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Whitchurch, SY13 4BW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
