Job Title: Mechanical Operative

Location: Coalville

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2:30pm and Fridays 6am to 11am

Role: Permanent

Pay: £14 per hour 39hr week = £28392 per annum + Overtime = earning of £35000 and upwards achievable

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK. The mechanical operative will be site based working as part of the assembly team. You will be tasked to build the machinery using mechanical hand tools (spanners, torque wrenches etc.) whilst reading the assembly drawings to ensure that the products are built in the correct way.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Operative role:

Reading assembly instruction/engineering drawings you will be building the bespoke machinery that the company manufacture onsite.

The ideal candidate / Mechanical Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• An mechanical skill set – ability to work with tools (spanners/wrenches), nuts and bolts
• Computer literate
• Strong communication skills
• NVQ level 2 or above in a mechanical skill set beneficial
• Competent at following assembly instructions
