Welder

Established for over 40 years and now one of the UK’s largest contract manufactures, MTL Advanced, part of WEC Group are looking to recruit several enthusiastic fabricator/welders to join our team based in Brinsworth.

Our 300,00 sq ft site is based close to Meadowhall, Sheffield and has excellent career and company opportunities to progress. The role will be on a permanent contract and the successful candidate will need experience within MIG welding.

Up to £19 an hour + £500 signing on bonus

Responsibilities

• To review engineering drawings for parts to be welded
• Perform MIG and JIG welding activities
• Ensure compliance to Health and safety standards as directed by the Company
• Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Ability to read engineering drawings is desirable
• Experience as a fabricator/welder within steel/metal
• Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
• Good communicator at all levels
• Reliable and enthusiastic
• Able to work to deadlines efficiently
• Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely

Working Location/Environment

Rotherham, Yorkshire

Shift Patters;

Permanent Nights- Monday to Wednesday 8pm-6am and Thursday 8:30pm-6am

or

Rotational of both shifts days (6am-2pm) and nights (Monday to Thursday- 4 day week)
