My Eastbourne based client is seeking a Senior Physicist to join their industry leading team of Engineers and Scientists, who are pioneering the development of early-stage prototypes for next generation of electronic products.
You will be working in a successful, expanding purpose-built R & D centre in Eastbourne on research projects that will be applied to next generation products, and will have the opportunity to actually turn your research into products that sell in their millions around the world.
You will need experience in research or early-stage product development environment, a real passion for research and development and an analytical approach to problem solving

This really is a multi-technology, engineering driven Senior Physicist job and will require somebody who can think concept - design - implement, in a physics environment. Hardware, software, physics, chemistry experimental skills are all relevant and all utilised in product development.

- Degree + in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics based subjects
- Practical experience in implementation of scientific method
- Experience in designing experiments, testing and statistical analysis of results
- Experience working in lab environment with mains voltage products
- Experience with Technical Support
Desirable experience for this Senior Physicist job -
- Experience with Vacuums or Gauges
- Minitab, or similar statistical software
- LabView, Matlab or Python
- Comsol, or similar computer simulation packages
