Assistant Baker

A fantastic opportunity to work in a small independent bakery in the heart of Primrose Hill. The role we are recruiting for is a Junior Baker/Assistant role to support the other 2 Bakers in the team. You will do the morning baking of pastries etc for our shop/cafe, make buttercream, some of the bars like flapjacks. Also, this role will involve washing up and cleaning to ensure we keep a hygienic kitchen throughout the day.

No antisocial hours.

We make many products we have won awards for including cinnamon buns, cookies, brownies, granola and scones.

In addition to daily bakes for our shop located above the bakery, we make birthday and other celebration cakes.

There are only 3 in the bakery team including the Manager, Sweet Things has been running for 17 years, the Cafe Bakery only open for the last 10 years!

A passion for producing quality bakes and creations is essential.

5 x 8 hour shifts per week between the hours of 6.30am and 4pm. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday would most likely be the required 5 shifts.
Weekends are busy!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
