Swimming Teachers and Assistants

Abingdon Sports and Leisure is seeking to appoint L2 Swim England qualified (SEQ) or L2 Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) certificated Swimming Teachers on a self-employed basis for our swim school which operates on Saturday and Sunday mornings at Abingdon School Sports Centre. We follow the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) framework, stages 1-10.

Self-employed swim teachers are primarily needed to provide cover but regular teaching sessions may also be available. Additional hours may be available for private 1-1 lessons or during holidays for intensive courses.

We are also seeking SEQ L1 Swimming Assistants (Teaching) to support our L2 Qualified Swimming Teachers with swim school on a casual basis.

Previous experience of teaching swimming or working with children would be beneficial.
