Care Assistant - Nights

As a NightsCare Assistant in our Buchan Care Home in Cambridge you will be part of a supportive and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents. You will make a difference every day by promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect whilst delivering exceptional levels of care. Excelcare is a family-owned care home group established for over 32 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:

• Salary: £10.40 p/h to £10.65 p/h depending on experience and qualifications
• 36 hours a week
• Night shifts from 8pm - 8am, Monday - Sunday. You must be able to work alternate weekends

About the role:

Supporting people with personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. Completing current and appropriate documentation which includes daily record keeping, charts and care plans.

What we are looking for from you:

Experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker or caring for a loved one would be ideal however if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work in elderly care – we would love to hear from you.
